NCT07629349 · RECRUITING

Dementia With Lewy Bodies: Clinical Symptoms, Biomarkers and Progression

This observational study is tracking people who show early signs of dementia with Lewy bodies, such as visual hallucinations, movement changes, cognitive fluctuations, or REM sleep behavior disorder. Researchers are collecting brain imaging, blood and spinal fluid biomarkers, and clinical assessments to better understand how the disease develops and progresses. There is no drug or treatment being tested. Details on phase are limited, as this is a data-gathering study, not a treatment trial.

Inclusion criteria

  • At least one core clinical feature of dementia with Lewy bodies such as visual hallucinations, parkinsonism, cognitive fluctuations, or probable REM sleep behaviour disorder.

Exclusion criteria

  • Causes of cognitive impairment other than those related to dementia or MCI. Current or pass drug use.
