NCT07656389 · NOT YET RECRUITING

An AI-Based Prediction of Cognitive Capacity in Older Adults and Individuals With Mild Cognitive Impairment During Virtual Reality Driving Tasks

This study uses virtual reality driving simulations combined with eye-tracking and arm-movement sensors to build an AI tool that detects early signs of cognitive decline. Researchers will compare how older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment navigate complex driving scenarios, then train an AI model to flag cognitive risk from those movement patterns. There is no phase designation — this is an observational research study, not a drug or treatment trial.
