NCT07779785 · NOT YET RECRUITING
VICA: A Virtual Care Assistant for Dementia Caregivers
This pilot study tests VICA, an AI-powered app that coaches family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and related dementias, comparing it to a basic education app. Researchers are measuring whether caregivers find it usable and whether it reduces patient behavioral symptoms and caregiver stress over 3 months. It's an early-stage feasibility trial, not proof it works yet.
