NCT06378372 · NOT YET RECRUITING

How Does Pianistic Musical Training Influence the Development of Alzheimer's Disease?

This trial is testing whether learning to play the piano can influence how Alzheimer's disease progresses. Participants with early to moderate cognitive decline take 20 piano lessons over four weeks, and researchers measure changes across several cognitive and neurological markers. This is a Phase NA study, meaning it is observational or exploratory in design rather than a formal efficacy trial. Details on the full measurement approach are limited.
