NCT06032091 · RECRUITING

Digital Phenotyping for Changes in Activity at the End of Life in People With Dementia

This observational study is tracking how movement and daily activity patterns change in people with dementia as they approach the end of life. Researchers will use a smartwatch and a bedside radar device to monitor sleep, agitation, and physical activity in 50 participants over three years. There is no treatment involved. The goal is to better understand what declining activity looks like in real time, which could improve end-of-life care decisions. Details on phase are not specified.
