ALzheimer and MUsic THerapy: Effects of Music Lessons on Brain Plasticity, Mood, and Quality of Life in Alzheimer Patients

This trial is testing whether a year of music lessons designed for people with Alzheimer's disease can slow brain shrinkage, improve mood, and raise quality of life. Researchers are using MRI scans to measure actual changes in brain structure over time. This is a Phase NA randomized controlled trial — meaning it is a structured experiment comparing groups, but not a drug trial going through the standard pharmaceutical approval phases.
