Investigations of Dementia in Parkinson Disease
This study uses two kinds of brain scans, called PiB PET and VAT PET, to look at people who have Parkinson disease. The scans measure amyloid plaques and a brain chemical system tied to memory. Researchers want to learn why some people with Parkinson develop dementia and what is behind it. No phase is listed, and no drug is being tested.
