Modifiable Variables in Parkinsonism (MVP)
This is an observational study, not a drug test. People with Parkinson's disease or related conditions fill out online questionnaires every six months for five years about their symptoms, general health, and food intake. Researchers want to spot habits, beliefs, and therapies linked to better quality of life and slower progression. No phase applies, and no treatment is given.
You may qualify if
- Parkinson's disease (PD)
- Parkinsonism
- Parkinson-plus syndromes (e.g. Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Corticobasal degeneration (CBGD), Dementia with Lewy bodies)
- Must have online access, an email address, basic computer literacy
- Must be willing to complete online surveys every 6 months for 5 years
You're excluded if
- Inability to read/write English
- Inability or unwillingness to complete surveys every six (6) months (~90 min)
