Acceptance and validation of virtual reality technologies for enhancing wellbeing and the early detection of cognitive decline in older adults
This European study looks at whether older adults with memory complaints or mild cognitive impairment find virtual reality tools acceptable and easy to use. One tool, GRADIOR, uses memory and attention tasks to screen for early changes in thinking. It is not a drug test. Phase does not apply here. It checks usability and screening, not whether anything works as a treatment.
