A Study to Learn How Different Amounts of the Study Medicine Called PF-08161842 Are Tolerated and Act in the Body in Healthy and Older Adults

This trial is giving a new experimental pill, PF-08161842, to healthy adults to see how safe it is and how the body processes it. Some people get the pill and others get a placebo. It is a Phase 1 trial, the first time this drug is given to people. It is an early safety check, not a test of whether it works.
You may qualify if
- Healthy adults, ages 18 to 64 years and healthy older adults, ages 65 to 85 years.
- Body mass index (BMI) of 16-32 kg/m2; and a total body weight >50kg (110 lb.).
You're excluded if
- Evidence or history of clinically significant medical conditions.
- Participation in studies of other investigational products (drug or vaccine) at any time during their participation in this study.
- A positive urine drug test.
