Tau Pathology in the Brain After Hip or Knee Replacement Surgery
This observational study asks whether having a hip or knee replacement under spinal anesthesia is linked to more tau protein building up in the brain over two years. Researchers will use brain scans, blood and spinal fluid samples, and memory tests. Nothing is being tested as a treatment. Phase is not specified. It only watches and compares.
