Loneliness as Risk Factor for Dementia
This is an observational study, so nothing is being given or changed. Researchers will follow adults aged 70 and older who were recently diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment. They want to see whether people who feel lonely are more likely to develop dementia over 12 months. The phase isn't specified, since there is no drug or treatment involved.
