NCT06437704 · UNKNOWN

Effects of Brain Training Games on Cognitive Function and Quality of Life in MCI

Sponsor: Riphah International University

This trial tests whether two video games, Lumosity (a brain training app) and SimCity BuildIt (a city-building simulation), can improve thinking skills and quality of life in older adults who already have mild cognitive impairment, or MCI. It is a Phase NA study, meaning it is a straightforward interventional study focused on measuring real-world effects rather than drug safety or efficacy stages. Details beyond that are limited.

You may qualify if

  • Older adults of age >50 years and above
  • Both male and female
  • Education level matriculation at least
  • Mild cognitive impairment ( MOCA score of 18-25)
  • Active independent individuals with normal hearing and normal or corrected-to-normal vision.

You're excluded if

  • Moderate to severe cognitive impairment
  • Diagnosed case of dementia, depression or other mental issues.
  • Current plans to move to another city.

The sponsor's own eligibility wording, lightly reformatted. The study team makes the final eligibility decision — worth discussing with your doctor.
