NCT06124339 · RECRUITING

Brain Health Virtual Reality Study

This trial at UC San Diego is testing whether virtual reality can improve brain health in older adults. Participants are randomly assigned to one of three 16-week programs: physical activity alone (stationary bike), VR-based cognitive activity alone, or a combined VR physical-and-cognitive activity program. Researchers will measure changes in brain health and cognition. This is a Phase NA behavioral trial — it is studying how these activities work, not testing a drug or device for approval.
