Effects of Multiple Concussions in Retired NHL Players
This study looks at how multiple concussions affect retired NHL players years later. Researchers measure thinking, balance, body position sense, mood, attention, and genetic and other biomarkers using tests and questionnaires. No treatment is being given. The phase is unspecified, which is typical for observational research like this, so it is not a drug test.
You may qualify if
- Retired professional NHL player
- History or reported concussion and concussion like symptoms
You're excluded if
- Any neurological condition
- Non sport related head trauma
