Impact of Preoperative Mild Cognitive Impairment on Postoperative Delirium in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Surgery
This observational study looks at whether mild cognitive impairment (MCI) before heart surgery makes delirium more likely afterward. Delirium is sudden confusion that can follow surgery. Older adults having planned cardiac surgery answer memory and thinking questionnaires. No drug or treatment is being tested. The phase is not specified, and details are limited so far.
