NCT07832370 · Phase 1 · NOT YET RECRUITING

A Trial of ALN-6457 in Adult Participants With Symptomatic Prion Disease (PrD)

This trial tests ALN-6457, a drug designed to reduce the amount of abnormal prion protein made in the brain, in people already showing symptoms of prion disease. It's an early Phase 1 study — mainly checking safety, dosing, and side effects, not yet proven to work. Prion disease is a rare, fast-moving condition distinct from Alzheimer's.
