NCT04599764 · RECRUITING

High Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) for Early Alzheimer's Disease

This trial is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called HD-tDCS, combined with computer-based cognitive training, can help people in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will use brain imaging to understand how the stimulation affects brain activity. Phase NA means this is likely a feasibility or pilot study — exploratory, not yet at the stage of proving the treatment works.
