NCT01888055 · WITHDRAWN
Influence of tDCS on Cortical Plasticity in Healthy Older Adults
This study tests whether a gentle, painless electrical current applied to the scalp over the brain's motor area changes how flexible that area is in healthy adults aged 50 to 80. Researchers measure muscle responses to magnetic pulses and compare real stimulation with a fake version. It has no drug phase; it is an early, basic-science device study.
